Celebrating The Sun

Celebrating The Sun

June has been great so far. The weather hasn’t let me down like it did in May (*knock on wood*), and it finally feels like summer is here. Yes, that’s right…May had plenty of cold and dreary days in store!

So what have I been doing since graduation? Well, to put it quite simply…nothing 🙂 Nothing too productive at least.

Catching up on sleep has been a priority, as well as seeing all of my lovers and friends. Unfortunately, the whole applying-for-jobs process has been remarkably slow and I definitely need to pick up on that asap.

I also need to get back into the groove of writing on the blog daily! It’s something that I truly enjoy doing and don’t want to see it disappear for weeks at a time.

As much as I love being lazy and embracing the “couch potato” lifestyle, I personally am unable to handle it for long periods of time. Gone are the days where I was capable of sitting on my bed or couch for 8 hours straight, watching some TV show marathon or non-stop movies. Perhaps it’s the fantastic weather, or maybe it’s just the new healthier and more active me, but sitting in one place for too long makes me ansy and uncomfortable.

My backyard has been a happy place for me though:

I’ll admit though that, since graduation, I’ve had a fair share of days consisting of doing absolutely nothing. What a waste of a day right?!? It’s especially upsetting when I think of how limited my summer is! Only 3 months 😦 Which is why I will now, the night before, start making a list of things I want to do/accomplish the following day. It will be a great way to keep me motivated, busy, and active, and it will help me put the oh-so-short summer days to great use.

Too much beauty to miss out on!

Anyway, I have dragged on this post for too long already.

Till next time!
