A Touch Of Pink And A Dash Of Green

A Touch Of Pink And A Dash Of Green

It’s Wednesday!

AKA I’m that much closer to my FE Exam on Saturday. Uh oh…better get studying…seriously.

Remember a few days ago when a manicure and pedicure were high priority on my to-do list? Well, I succeeded in giving myself a pretty-in-pink manicure (but no pedicure :()!

Actually, I would call it Need A Vacation pink manicure since that’s what the color was actually called 🙂

How absolutely appropriate! Summer seriously cannot come soon enough…and with it will <hopefully> come a few vacations here and there.

But in the mean time I will just have to live vicariously through my nail polish. Hmm ain’t that just life!

Nail polish is like candy to me- beautiful, colorful, extravagantly addictive candy. I have a hard time resisting purchasing nail polishes when I’m at some store that sells my two favorite brands: O.P.I and Essie.

For those who care, here are the polishes I used for my mani a few days ago:

That base coat, Nail Optimizer, ROCKS by the way. My sister showed it to me years ago (ahh the perks of having an older sister) and I haven’t stopped using it since. It’s helped me endless times in re-growing bitten and peeled nails. Yes, it’s a bit pricey but totally worth it!

And like I said…O.P.I and Essie won’t let you down! One day I’ll show you my full <in progress> collection 🙂

PINK!

I also had a dash of green in my life the other day in the form of my plants!

That’s right- the basil and dill that I planted about a week ago sprouted!!!

Confession: I have no idea which is the basil and which is the dill…oops.

I’m so so so happy! Once again I thought I killed them both via drowning :/

Patience is a virtue but I cannot wait to eat fresh herbs all summer!

Still no luck on the egg plant, but hopefully something will peek out of the soil by this weekend.

One more piece of exciting news (well at least it’s exciting for me!): my sprouting lid came in the mail yesterday! I can’t wait to start sprouting everything once I have the time next week…I’ve got a long list forming already…

I just need to learn how to use this sprouter now :/ Any advice?

Have a great day!
